On Sunday August 23, 2009 from 4 to7 p.m. the second in a series of Sustenanceäon the Farm Dinners will take place in the scenic fields of Starbrite Farm in Andover, Sussex County. Organic farmer John Krueger will host and chef Andrea Carbine, a James Beard Award semi-finalist and co-owner of A Toute Heure in Cranford, will prepare an elegant farm-to-table five-course dinner centered around Starbrite Farm’s organic and heirloom vegetables, as well as grass-fed meat and poultry from a nearby farm. Rounding
out the meal are foods from artisans based within a small radius of the farm and organic/biodynamic wines that will be paired with each course. Live music during the dinner by solo guitarist Paul Meyers will bring an acoustic infusion of Brazilian rhythms and Jazz.

On Sunday July 19, 2009, from 4-7PM the first in a series of Sustenanceäon the Farm Dinners will take place in the green field of Griggstown Quail Farm in Princeton, Southern Somerset County. Farmers George Rude and Matthew Sytsema will host and chef David C. Felton, former Executive Chef of The Pluckemin Inn will prepare a farm-to-table five-course dinner with a spectacular array of food sourced from Griggstown Quail Farm. Dessert will be prepared by Executive Chef Christopher Albrecht of Eno Terra, Princeton. This sustainable meal will include food from artisans within a small radius of the farm and organic/biodynamic wines will be paired with each course. Live music during the dinner by jazz duo tenor saxophonist Alex Stein and guitarist Chris Parks will enhance the evening.
