Alexandria Balloon Flights offers balloon flights over scenic Hunterdon
County from April thru November in the early morning and evening
hours (generally 6am and 6pm). Their ballooning center is located
at Sky Manor Airport in Pittstown, NJ about 75 mins from NYC. Their
balloons carry up to 5 passengers. The average flight lasts about
1 hour, however you should expect to spend about 2 1/2 hours with
them. A champagne flight costs $175 per person and an exclusive
2 person flight is available for an additional charge. Complimentary
champagne, soft drinks and hors d'oeuvres follow your flight on
their patio. Alexandria Balloon Flights is the regions most experienced

Since 1970, American Balloon has offered Champagne Flights to the public as
well as advertising/public relation campaigns for many companies. You are
invited to share an aerial adventure which man has enjoyed for more than two
centuries. Join us as we drift along in the gentle breezes over the lovely
hills and valleys of Hunterdon County in New Jersey. We fly any day of the
week, the year around from our licensed balloon port near Clinton, New
Jersey. All flights are at daybreak or two hours before sunset, when we can
expect to have the light winds and stable air most favorable for balloon
flight. Our primary balloon can carry up to six people but we like to hold
it to four or five so we have plenty of space on board. For a party of one
to three, the fare is $185 per person. For four or more, the price is
reduced to $170 per person. We offer a private flight for two($225 per
person) but unless you want to get engaged, we recommend you'll have more
fun with others. A $50 per person deposit is required to make a reservation
and the balance is due when we fly. If inclement conditions cause the
flight to be cancelled, we simply reschedule. Personalized gift
certificates are available for no added cost and we accept major credit

Avian Adventures is a NJ full-service hot air balloon company offering
year round, AM & PM Balloon Rides. They have 6 launch sites
around the Clinton, NJ area. They offer dinner flights from area
restaurants and a local winery and the adventure will take passengers
over scenic Hunterdon County where you will view the rolling hills
filled with wildlife, see streams, lakes, ponds, trees and farms.
To add to your ballooning experience, you are invited to become
part of the crew. A hands on participation is encouraged. Their
pilots are also FAA certified instructors and you will be guided
through every step of the balloon experience. Rates range from $165
to $195 per person for a 2 1/2 to 3 hour adventure which includes
a champagne toast and hors d'oeuvres concluding the flight. They

Balloonatics and Aeronuts offers scenic balloon trips over the Delaware
River Valley's beautiful countryside and rolling hills. Passengers
will see the rolling hills of New Jersey's Skylands, and as far
as the Delaware Water Gap. On a clear day you can see both Philadelphia
and New York City. They offer trips 7 days a week in the early morning
and evening hours. Cost for a trip is $210 per person and $390 per
couple and includes a champagne brunch/picnic after the flight.
The flight lasts about an hour and the entire adventure usually
takes between 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Duration of the trip is anywhere
from 10 to 20 miles. Friends and family are welcomed to ride in
the chase vehicle (1 or 2 can fit), or follow in their own vehicles,
and join the party after the balloon flight. 4 color gift certificates
are available and t-shirts are sold on site. Major credit cards
are accepted.

On a clear day, it is easy to see the skylines of both New York
City and Philadelphia, as well as the large airship hangars at Lakehurst
Naval Air Station. Allow about 2-3 hours or so for the complete
activity. This will include meeting the balloon crew at a designated
location; 30 minutes or so for a procedural and safety briefing
and setting up the balloon; one hour for the actual flight; 30 minutes
for landing and packing up the equipment; then they return to the
launch site where for the traditional champagne toast celebrating
a fun, safe flight.
