Whether you are 3 or 93, Blackbeard's Cave goal is to put a smile
on your face and keep you young at heart. They are a smaller amusement
park, but have plenty to keep you occupied. Youcan drive around
a Formula go cart track with bridges and tunnels, try to avoid explosions
or steer through the caves on the bumper boats, swing away at the
batting cages, test your skills on their 20 hole, par 59 miniature
golf course or practicing your swing at the driving range. A few
of their more unique activities include the Archery Range, Water
Wars Balloon Fight, Jousting, Gangster Alley and remote control
boats. In addition, they also have pony rides and an arcade. When
you start getting hungry, the C.B. Huntington Railroad Co. Restaurant
will entertain as well (it is filled with miniature train sets that
are constantly running as well train memorabilia). Birthday parties
are their specialty and groups are always welcome at reduced rates

Bowcraft has been providing smiles for the entire family for over
50 years (and I can attest to that because I was taken their numerous
times when I was a child many moons ago). They are another smaller
amusement park, but have plenty of attractions to keep you entertained.
They have 19 adult and kiddie rides including a rollercoaster, a
flying Carousel, a train ride and more. The newer rides include
The Frog Hopper, The Crazy Submarine and The Samba Balloon. When
you want to relax a little, you can try your putting skills at the
18 hole miniature golf, play some games at the arcade or test your
luck at the skill games. A food court is located nearby offering
a variety of munchies. Several special events are scheduled throughout
the year for extra enjoyment.

A large amusement park located on the Seaside boardwalk pier above
the Atlantic Ocean surf. With over 35 rides imported from all over
the world including a roller coaster, Ferris wheel, sky ride and
much more, they are one of the bigger parks in NJ.. They have hundreds
of chance games with prizes, arcades, miniature golf and an abundance
of food stands. They also house one of only two surviving American
made classic carousels in New Jersey.

Founded in 1907, Clementon is a family theme park with numerous
rides and attractions. Some of the exciting adult rides include
rollercoasters, a 10 story high Ferris wheel, a Clementon Belle
showboat, Huntington Train and Yo-Yo. Some of the newer rides include
Thunderbolt, Falling Star, Sea Dragon and their newest attraction,
Chaos. Also new is a Classic Carousel which features antique style
horses and chariots. They also feature a new and fully enclosed
Kiddie Land, offering gentle rides for the younger visitors and
a petting zoo with 60 animals including some exotic ones. Their
newest attraction is the Big Cat Encounter which features African
Lions and Royal Bengal Tigers performing a variety of educational
and entertaining shows. Strolling string bands and clowns can be
found wondering throughout the park. A gift shop and concession

Funtown Pier has brought excitement and laughter to families for
over 75 years. Their amusment pier has an incredible ocean view
backdrop with beautiful beaches for the whole family to enjoy. They
have adult rides, family rides and over 35 great rides for the small
kiddies. Go-Carts, The 225 Foot Tower of Fear (the tallest ride
in NJ), The Kamikaze, a Ferris Wheel, a looping roller coaster and
many other rides await you. You can purchase individual tickets
or pay-one-price. When you are finished at the amusement park, you
can stroll the boardwalk and try your luck at any of the dozens
of games and enjoy all the incredible food. Group and birthday packages
are available. Open from late March to September.

For over 70 years, Gillian's Wonderland Pier has been one of the
larger amusement parks in NJ. Over 35 family and thrill rides including
a 138' Ferris Wheel, City Jet Rollercoaster, The Wonder Bear Affair,
Music Express, Safari Adventure, and their newest ride - the upside
down Twister. You can get a bird's eye view of the park by taking
a ride on the Monorail or relax on the Antique Carousel. For the
kids, they have a kiddie roller coaster, Samba Balloons, a NASCAR
Speedway, Flying Submarines and much more. Wonder Bear, Gillian's

Entertaining families since 1957, Hot Diggity's at Fairy Tale Forest
is a family theme park with over 20 classic fairytales displayed
in life size storybook cottages within a picturesque forest setting.
Authentic hand-sculptured exhibits of children's nursery rhymes
such as Pinocchio, Goldilocks and the 3 Bears and Cinderella are
sure to please the young ones. Character appearances are held throughout
the day along with music and dance time and storytelling. Visitors
can participate as one of the storybook characters or play along
with one of the many fun percussion instruments! Hot Diggity's Grill
serves up some appetizing snacks, including their signature "Hot
Diggity Dogs", slated to be the best all meat dogs in northern
NJ. A souvenir shop and picnic area are also located in the park.
During the Winter, Hot Diggity's is transformed into a Christmas
Wonderland with a glistening light extravaganza, holiday exhibits,
Christmas carousel and fire engine rides, and, of course, a visit
by Santa Claus and some of his helpers!

Jenkinson's is a larger amusement park located on the Point Pleasant
Boardwalk with plenty of things to do for the entire family. They
have 27 rides, including 13 kiddie rides and a fun house. When you
get hungry, you will find an abundance of food stands for every
taste imaginable as well as restaurants with ocean view dining.
If you would rather shop, there are a variety of novelty shops located
nearby. Test your skills at any of the many games of chance which
will reward you with prizes for your accomplishments or play some
games at one of the 4 arcades. Also located on the boardwalk is
the Jenkinson's Aquarium (which can be found in Zoos & Aquariums
in NJ). Free weekly events and live music are held throughout the
summer on the beach. After the sun goes down, the older crowd can
dance the night away or listen to live bands at the hottest nightclub
on the Jersey shore.

Keansburg is another amusement park located on the boardwalk offering
fun for the young and old. They have over 45 adult & kiddie
rides including the Sea Serpent Roller Coaster, Bouncy Frog Hopper,
Red Baron Airplane Ride, Balloon Ferris Wheel, The Dragon Ride and
a European-style Carousel. New for 2000 is The Double Shot, a ride
that launches you up 100 feet and then blasts back down again. Two
newer rides were recently opened - The Chaos rocking rollercoaster
with a dazzling light show and the twist and turning Tornado. For
the speed racers, they have two go cart tracks - one for adults
and one for children. They also have a rock climbing wall and batting

A 30 acre amusement and water park located in Warren County. A family
oriented park with numerous rides, attractions and entertainment.
Among the favorite rides include The Windjammer Hang Gliding Ride,
T-Rex spinning dinosaur, the Red Baron Airplane ride and the classic
Tilt-a-Whirl. Newer rides include an Old Fashioned Turn of the Century
replica carousel and the Frog Hopper. For more relaxing activities,
you can take an Old Fashioned hayride drawn by a farm tractor, take

an amusement/water park lover's paradise. With over 150 world class
rides and attractions, it is second in size only to Six Flags Great
Adventure. They have 3 successful amusement piers (Morey's Piers)
and 2 oceanfront water parks (Raging Waters) which hosts over 3
million visitors annually. Among the most popular rides are the
Great Nor' Eastern which is a suspended, looping, corkscrew and
turning rollercoaster; The Storm, a spinning, twisting rotating

Great Adventure, at 2,200 acres, is the largest amusement park and
safari in the country. They have far too many rides and attractions
to explain in one paragraph (over 200 to be exact) from a mild carousel
and relaxing skyride to a heart stopping freefall and screaming
rollercoasters! In 1999 they spent $42 million dollars for an expansion
with over 25 new rides and attractions including Medusa, the world's
first "floorless" supercoaster, Looney Tunes Seaport with
10 new attractions, Houdini's Great Escape and many more thrill
rides and live action shows. And to add to that, they are prepared
to open Hurricane Harbor, a 45 acre waterpark, on Memorial Day Weekend.
Numerous restaurants, food courts, arcade games and skill games
