DRT is a non profit, 200 seat professional theatre producing original
work and recently produced Off-Broadway shows, full-lengths, musicals,
comedies, dramas and one-acts. They showcase New Jersey artists
whenever possible, support women artists, keep ticket prices affordable,
and have programs in theatre education for teens and adults. The
season runs September through May, with educational programs in
the summer. A concession stand is available at intermission. The
box office is always open via machine.

Jersey premiers. A kid's forum offers year round musical versions
of favorite children's stories for kids ages 2-12. The Forum is
renowned for its world premiere plays and musicals and for productions
which bring new life to seldom produced American musicals. Conveniently
located in central NJ with many pleasant restaurants nearby. The
box office is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 6:00

Foundation Theatre is a professional, Actors' Equity Association
theatre company in residence at Burlington County College. The
company was created in 1975 when established professionals, talented
students and eager audiences came together to celebrate theatre
with a production of Tennessee Williams' Summer and Smoke. Since
then, Foundation Theatre has grown from one production to include
a Summer Children's Theatre Project and Spotlight Theatre Summer
Camp, the Fall /Spring Classic Series including special Meet the
Artist matinees for school children, a holiday Community Theatre
Production, and educational forums for artists and teachers. Foundation
Theatre's mission is to produce a broad range of theatrical work
in a collaborative, thought-provoking style, and to provide a
variety of arts programs, which, together, will create a supportive
and challenging home for regional artists, serve as a resource
for arts educators, and foster appreciation of live theatre by
engaging the imagination of theatergoers.

The mission of the Growing Stage Theatre is to nurture the development
of the performing arts in the community through education; and
to create, produce and perform works that engage the entire family.
The Growing Stage is currently in its fifteenth season of presenting
quality, professional theatre for young people and their families.
It is the vision of the Growing Stage staff and board of trustees
to create within the next three years the first performing arts
center solely dedicated to young people in New Jersey. While its
focus will remain the theatre arts, The Growing Stage also hopes
to create a forum in which the other performing arts such as dance,
music and the visual arts can become alive and accessible to all
young people.

Hunterdon Hills Playhouse is a dinner Theatre
and Cabaret. They started in the dinner theatre business
in 1975 producing their own plays and staging them in local restaurants.
In 1979 they purchased the historic Hunterdon Hills Playhouse. Before
the renovations got underway, the Playhouse was destroyed by a fire,
bringing its colorful history to an end. In 1980, they found a site
in the rolling hills, just 2 miles from the original site. The theatre
is custom built to provide the very best in sight and sound. The
tiered arrangement of the tables and the state-of-the-art sound
system allow you to see and hear perfectly from anywhere in the
room. The stage features rotating turntables, computerized lighting,
and beautiful sets. They attract many of Manhattan's finest performers.

The John Harms Center for the Arts was built
in 1926 as a silent movie and vaudeville theater. In 1998, the
John Harms Center for the Arts underwent a $6.6 million renovation
complete with air conditioning, new lighting and sound systems,
additional seats and a refurbished lobby. A new facade and state
of the art electronic marquee were added in the summer of 2000.
Today, the John Harms Center for the Arts is northern New Jersey's
largest theater with 1,385 seats. The theater presents a broad
range of entertainment to satisfy every taste and budget, including
a sensational line-up of world premiere events, celebrity performers,
world class music, cutting edge theater and dance, hilarious comedy,
glittering holiday shows and an outstanding series of quality,
affordable programming for children of all ages. The
John Harms Center's Performing Arts School (PAS) operates year-round
and offers professional acting, dance and musical theater classes
for children. The John Harms Center for the Arts has been recognized
as a "Regional Center of Artistic Excellence" by the
New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Tickets can be purchased
online or at their box office. The Box Office is open Monday through
Saturday from 11 AM - 6 PM and 2 hours prior to curtain on show
days.

Mainstage Center for the Arts began in 1989 after the pleading of
students to create a theater program that would encompass their
long summer vacation. Although Mainstage Center for the Arts does
not currently own a theatre, they perform at various venues with
their partnerships with Gloucester Township School System, Camden
County College, the Washington Township School System, and others,
in order to have access to performance venues. Mainstage's programs
now reach an annual audience of over 50,000 and serve over 1,000
children directly through classes and workshops. Mainstage is very
proud to be recognized by the community as "one of the best
performing arts centers in South Jersey", they have won that
honor five years in a row from the readers of the Courier Post Newspaper.
They also offer dance, voice, and acting classes.

A non-profit theatre company, created in 1992, dedicated to the
growth and showcasing of all types of performing arts including
large-scale musicals, dramas, comedies, cabarets and holiday concerts.
Most of their shows include large casts and children and have been
nominated consistently for awards of merit, winning some. Currently
performances take place at the Linden Presbyterian Church, the Linden
HS air-conditioned theatre auditorium, and the JTG Recreation Center
in Linden with a capacity anywhere from 200 - 400. Concession style
snacks and drinks are available.
